How to reset software license activation for transfering to another computer

In this short tutorial, you will learn how to reset software license activation so you can transfer it to another computer.

Click on “Activations”

Click on “Activations” in the “Downloads” page. This will take you to the page with the list of computers where your software is activated on.

Un-register license from a single computer

Each registered computer for this particular license key will be listed on this “Activations” page.

Next to each item, you’ll see a red circle button which un-registers the license from that particular computer.

Each listing has detailed information such as computer ID, Windows username, last login information, IP address, and MT4 account information from the last login. This helps you identify which computer you want to un-register.

Un-register license from all computers at once

If you want to un-register your license from all computers you simply click the “Un-register from all computers” button on the right-bottom of the activations list table.

Any license can be reset or transferred to another computer if it says “YES” in the “Transferable?” column.

Some VIP and Corporate licenses allow creating offline license key (OLK) which is then stored on the computer and has an expiry date (usually several months or one year). Such activations cannot be un-registered or transferred to another computer until the OLK expires.
